I think it's pretty cool. It makes the guild seem as if they are one of the original guilds/ Maybe from the Beta years. I don't think this is true, but that is the effect given.

Greets Hanso! Yes I saw the acceptance message from Lady Blue Steel last week, one day after applying. I have already paid the tuition fee to Brutaniu Mason and had a quick chat with him.
I've checked the LBSRA forums to start tweaking my Warr/Mo - have tried several builds and capped a few necessary elites + picked up a Malinons shield.. I'm just cleaning up my business before I join the LBS guild as a rookie...
I'll post my official "greets" within the LBSRA forum once I get my s**t together!

Im gonna follow Brutaniu Mason's lead and get my act together. I've been an officer almost from the beginning and was one of the first group of students. Im on the admissions board now and I can make any run. IGN is Hanso Togakure. Whisper me or PM with any runs that you need.

I'm impressed that someone organized a "legitimate runners guild." However, the 15 ecto admission price is absurd. If someone is a good runner, then they are a good runner. They should hardly be required to submit ~166 platinum in order to be arbitrarily "certified."
Here is my counter-offer. To anyone who wants to know how to run everywhere on the map: PM me on these forums and I'll give you the near-universal running build and hints on how to use it. I'll do it for free, because running should be a job for skilled entrepreneurs, not a pyramid scam requiring an expensive investment.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Although, some people dont pay to be godly runners, maybe they already are when they joined? Some people join for the community, since i've been in the guild (like a week) there have been a few tombs, like 3 FoW forgemaster runs, and tons of races/running fun. This has been the most active guild i've been in and i've already made some of the money back, and even if i dont, its not like a million or anything.

what about people that want to make a warrior just for the experience and the knowledge?
as an example i wold like to learn from the runners, even though possibly not charging a fee but running my friends here and there, after paying the tutition fee I assume that i will get a list of skills i need to get before starting to learn the runs right?

Yeah dude this is more for the guild rather than the academy it seems. Ofcourse the academy brings alot of people in the idea of being associated with such a well known group is very nice. Plus being LBS certified helps A TON when getting runs. Being able to say the you are an associate of LBS helps crazy amounts.

The 15 ecto admission price is to protect the manual/videos/knowledge we provid against no trustworthy players/runners.

Yes, his name was Hatori. But Togakure is a mountain in Japan where one of the ninja families lived and one of the 9 schools of ninjutsu that i study has the same name (Togakure Ryu).
